Thanks to Connecticut Comedy for Cash, we have secured exceptional talent this year! We are excited to have these hilarious comedians performing at our event, all of whom are US military veterans:

Headliner: Johnny Watson (U.S. Navy Veteran)

Johnny Watson is a Navy Veteran and comedian known for being dynamic, relatable, and very, very funny. A true “nice guy” comedian, Johnny connects effortlessly with audiences large and small, using a clean yet edgy delivery that highlights his charisma and quick wit.

Raised in a tough New Jersey neighborhood, Johnny turned to humor to survive. After graduating at the bottom of his class, his grandmother lovingly suggested comedy, and the military helped him hone his craft. Hollywood casting director Dean Fronk called him “a star in the making,” and comedian Adam Ferrara praised Johnny for always delivering laughs. Whether on stage or in front of the camera, Johnny’s honesty, self-deprecation, and charm make him unforgettable.

Co-Headliner: Jody Fuller (U.S. Army Veteran)

Jody Fuller is a soldier, comic, speaker, and writer with three tours of duty in Iraq. A proud Army Veteran, Jody began his service as a medic and later returned after 9/11 as an officer, eventually rising to the rank of Major in the Army Reserves. He has performed for U.S. troops in 15 countries and continues to serve through his comedy and motivational speaking.

Growing up in Opelika, AL, Jody overcame poverty and has navigated life as a lifelong stutterer. His military career and personal resilience inspire his performances, which range from troops and nonprofits to businesses and disability groups. An accomplished writer, he’s been featured in 11 Chicken Soup for the Soul books and was named one of GI Jobs Magazine’s “Veterans taking the comedy world by storm.” Despite traveling the globe, Jody proudly calls Opelika home.

Opening Act: Steve Scarfo (U.S. Army Veteran)

Steve Scarfo, an Army Veteran and a 25+ year veteran of the Boston Comedy Scene, brings high-energy humor and a unique perspective that keeps audiences laughing. Recognized by The Boston Globe after his first performance, Steve has performed at top venues across New England, including Laugh Boston, Nick’s Comedy Stop, and the Comedy Connection.

He has shared the stage with national acts like Dave Coulier, Victoria Jackson, and Jeff Dunham. Steve’s screen credits include appearances in films like Fever Pitch, The Departed, and The Fighter, as well as several independent productions. A proud Veteran, Steve continues to deliver laughter across New England.
