Homes for the Brave's mission is to provide Veterans and their families with the support and the resources to thrive.
Our Core Programs
Homes for the Brave
Homes for the Brave operates two transitional and one permanent supportive housing program, primarily for Veterans who are experiencing homelessness.
Madaras Home for Women Veterans
Connecticut’s first and only transitional housing program exclusively for Women Veterans experiencing homelessness and their children.
Waldorf House
Permanent supportive housing offering long-term stability and independence for those we serve.
Tony Cinquanta Veterans Service Center
The Veterans Service Center helps any Veteran or family member of a Veteran who is at risk of homelessness or who is in need of other services.
Vocational Program
The Training for Success Vocational & Educational Program provides vocational services to Veterans and their family members.
Clinical Program
The Homes for the Brave Clinical Program provides access to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented individual and group therapy to address the mental health and substance use needs of Veterans and their families in our local community.
The Need is Great.
